POSITION PURPOSE

The Field Marketing Specialist helps people navigate the beautiful and complex world of beer by providing administrative and execution support for field marketing programs resulting in additional activation opportunities for the brand.

 

FIELD MARKETING SPECIALIST PERFORMANCE OUTCOMES

Track and accrue field marketing budgets to 100% of forecasted spend by December 31, 2021.

  • Monitor, track and reconcile budgets for all field marketing activities.
  • Assist in planning and forecasting additional activations based on remaining spend each quarter.
  • Work cross-functionally between CCBC Accounting, Sales, Field Marketing, and Distributors to ensure that budgets are being reconciled correctly and on time.
  • Submit PO requests and ensure that Accounting protocols are followed appropriately.

Develop a dashboard and associated benchmarks for success for field marketing activities by December 31, 2021.

  • Identify success metrics for all activations and record results.
  • Ensure that all activations result in projected ROI.
  • Provide reporting as needed, including but not limited to post-activation results and monthly dashboards.
  • Develop logistical plans / run-of-shows for all Field Marketing activations with a strong emphasis on events.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams (i.e. Sales) to assign roles and responsibilities for all activations.
  • Make recommendations for logistics improvements to continually enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Attend CCBC Field Marketing events and ensure execution and activation are on-brand and effective.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador for CCBC and speak fluently and effectively to our brands.
  • Identify local influencers (i.e. chefs, experts, etc.) to partner with for field activation and additional Brand Marketing support.
  • Accept responsibility for the on-site management of CCBC events and report to Marketing successes and opportunities for improvement.

Increase frequency of POS orders from 2x per year to 4x per year by December 31, 2021.

  • Provide guidelines for Point of Sale visibility at retail (i.e. “x” number of Point of Sale placements per “type of account”)
  • Support for monitoring of select accounts to ensure accurate and appropriate Point of Sale

Improve procurement speed and receipt of inventory by an average of at least 3 weeks by December 31, 2021.

  • Create and manage CCBC forms and processes for the ordering, fulfillment, and inventory management of Point of Sale materials.
  • Serve as the day-to-day contact for questions related to Point of Sale materials, including but not limited to billing, inventory on-hand, and ad Hoc orders / requests.

POSITION PURPOSE

The Packaging Manager helps people navigate the beautiful and complex world of beer through the direction and strategy of Creature Comfort Brewing Company’s packaging department and staff.

 

 

PACKAGING MANAGER PERFORMANCE OUTCOMES

Increase overall packaging efficiency from 84% – 90% by Dec. 31st, 2021.

  • Researches, recommends and manages the implementation of improvements and investments for packaging processes, such as
      • consistent and repeatable line start-up
      • run and breakdown processes resulting in reducing beer and raw materials loss, etc.

Reduce Packaging Co2 usage by 2lbs before year end.

  • Develops an expert level of knowledge of Brite beer and packaging equipment, including their maintenance, sanitation and related processes.
  • Increase batch yields 2% by Dec 31st, 2021.
  • Manages available budgetary resources assigned to Packaging Department.
  • Researches, recommends and manages sourcing, installation and utilization of equipment upgrades.

Reduce material loss 2% by Dec 31st, 2021.

Fully cross-trained packaging staff by Dec. 31st, 2021.

  • Manages and keeps employees motivated for multiple shifts and locations with changing seasonal demands and package types.

Develop/Revise five SOP’s/PM’s monthly.

  • Maintains SOPs and reports statistics.
  • Adheres to and enforces all applicable local, state and federal laws, rules and regulations regarding health and safety.
  • Discuss new leadership tools with your team weekly.
  • Leads the hiring, training and performance planning/evaluation for Packaging Department.
  • Review new leadership tools, allowing for collaborative conversations.
  • Reduce Packaging related QA complaints 5% by Dec. 31st, 2021.
  • Manages, supports and achieves CCBC’s objectives by meeting production deadlines for quality packaged beer with efficient order fulfillment and minimal downtime.
  • Ensures that all finished goods meet quality control parameters, including but not limited to
    • flavor profiles
    • TPO/Carb levels
    • seam/package integrity

Reduce in-house related “QA HOLD” 20% by Dec. 31st, 2021.

POSITION VALUES

  • Technical aptitude – overall understanding of high-speed production facilities and relevant equipment failures (E.g., electrical, mechanical, plumbing)
  • Time management – Ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner and broken down into priority, utilizing our Work Order Form.
  • Problem Solving Skills – The ability to review and assess our issues quickly while providing suggestions based on previous experience.
  • Staff Development – Understands the importance of cross training with the department and analyzing skills gaps for future enrichment.
  • Active listening – The ability to diagnose what’s being said without speaking. Providing feedback and truly understanding what is being discussed.
