SENIOR KEY ACCOUNTS MANAGER

Position Purpose:

The Sr. Key Account Manager is responsible for over delivering against Creature Comforts Brewing Co.’s Quality Sales objectives in the On-Premise working with key chain accounts and driving Quality distribution. They will be responsible for managing relationships with key senior level buyers, communicating and executing against brand priorities, and following up on initiatives and programs with our CCBC and wholesaler sales teams. The position is a senior level position reporting to our Director of National Accounts.

Activities & Outputs:

Focus on Quality

  • Understand that quality is our top sales driver for building a stronger brand
  • Develop strong relationships with our key account customers to become their best partner
  • Create a purposeful relationship with both our Commercial Sales Team and distributor partner
  • Design, communicate, track, and recap all programming initiatives

People Development

  • Have meaningful and purposeful relationships with buyers within the On-Premise
  • Communicate brilliantly both internally and externally
  • Understand the buyers’ needs and manage time effectively
  • Communicate to our Commercial Sales Team and our distributor on the effective ways to call on individual accounts and next steps on executing
  • Have a best-in-class relationship with our distributor partner’s On-Premise Chain Team, Tell Sell Manager, and their On-Premise Director gaining their ongoing support in executing against all of our plans
  • Build and present presentations aligning with buyers’ needs and our brewery’s strategy

Market Development

  • Over-deliver on Market Execution Plans, including features, programming, and creativity around our brands
  • Build, manage, and exceed expectations around features and distribution throughout the year while tracking execution on an ongoing basis
  • Have a deep understanding of the business by utilizing data reports and understanding sales trends to create selling stories for our buyers, Commercial Sales Team, and distributor (IRI, VIP, Neilson, etc.)
  • Track the Commercial Sales Teams’ execution against all chain programming with follow-up and follow-thru on all initiatives
  • Evaluate programs and promotional events throughout the year and encourage the team to do so as well
  • Be able to problem solve and always think opportunistically
  • Budget management, including Visibility, T and E, Programming, etc.
  • Identify and develop new opportunities for growth

Marketing & Brand Development:

  • Oversee the growth and development of Creature Comforts brands
  • Work with the Creature Comforts Marketing Team to identify brand-building opportunities, bring programming to life, and collaborate on cross-merchandising opportunities driving pull-thru
  • Identify community programming tied into our charitable efforts

Desired Skills/Experience (but not limited to):

  • 4-6 years of proven success in the craft beer industry and wholesale distribution management
  • 2-4 years of people management experience and a history of developing direct reports
  • A deep understanding of IRI, Nielsen, VIP, and other industry-leading analytic tools
  • Must have a thorough understanding of the three-tiered system
  • Understanding of chain pricing and general operations
  • Passion for the industry, a genuine sense of pride in all that they do, and a strong work ethic

PLC TECHNICIAN/ELECTRICIAN

Based in Athens, GA

Position Purpose:

To carry out emergency response maintenance, as well as inspections, preventative and corrective maintenance, and other specialized electromechanical maintenance activities on site.

Activities & Outcomes:

As a PLC Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in the operations and maintenance of machines at Creature Comforts Brewing Co. You ensure complicated errors on mechanical, electrical, electro-mechanical, and basic PLC level are resolved quickly, adequately, and sustainably. You ensure the systems stay in optimal condition and are functioning at the best of its technical abilities and operational needs.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Solve errors on electrical and mechanical field as well as basic PLC level in automated handling systems. Perform basic PLC and VFD diagnostics, adjust setting / parameters, and version control.
  • Carry out electrical-mechanical and PLC related inspections, corrective and preventive maintenance, and emergency maintenance including researching and requesting spare parts, and replacement or fixing of parts/assets if required.
  • Follow and execute troubleshooting and maintenance activities in accordance with diagrams, electrical drawings, O&M manuals and manufacturer’s specifications using hand tools and precision measuring and testing instruments.
  • Reporting and administration of the carried-out operations and maintenance activities, including service reports, parts usage, and warranty records.
  • Reporting of problems/maintenance activities that need attention, also on controls level.
  • Clear machine jams should they occur to restore operations and correct system functioning as soon and as effective as possible.
  • Work safely and promote safe working environment. Exercise safe working practice at all times, complying with Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures.
  • Keep system and surrounding floor space clean and free from obstructions.
  • Advise and execute optimization of (sub) systems after consulting the supervisor. Control and propose improvements for the quality of the service process.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 3-5 years of relevant PLC & electrical experience.

Packaging Manager

Based in Athens, GA

Position Purpose:

The Packaging Manager ensures that our products are packaged safely and joyfully, to the company’s quality standards and efficiently as possible while developing a strong and cohesive team of packaging specialists. All while maintaining Creature Comforts quality standards, safety protocols, and maintaining CCBC core values.

Activities & Outcomes:

  1. Packaging Efficiency
  • Oversee the Packaging Training & Maintenance Manager by implementing improvements and investments for packaging specialist growth, such as
    cross-training all of the packaging department by honing their skills needed to navigate effectively and efficiently and in doing so creates an effective production line.
  • Research new platforms with the Sustainability Manager to continuously improve CO2 usage in can and keg operations. Manage sourcing equipment, installation, and utilization of equipment upgrades.
  • Teach/coach packaging specialists the importance of speed to volume ratios such as: avoiding filler stoppage, knowing your machine (properly trained), the importance of preventive maintenance, and the importance of V-curve (input/output).
  1. Leadership & Development
  • Manage and keep packaging specialists motivated to increase workforce sustainability while keeping them engaged in new training opportunities and growth.
  • Lead the performance planning/evaluation/growth for packaging specialists and Packaging Training and Maintenance Manager.
  • Invest in packaging specialists’ growth and cultivate relationships by challenging them.

QUALITY LAB TECHNICIAN

Position Purpose:

The Quality Lab Technician ensures that regular quality checks are performed timely and efficiently and that others in the Quality Department are fully supported.

DIRECTOR OF BREWERY OPERATIONS SNOW TIRE

Based in Athens, GA

Position Purpose:

To continuously develop Catalyst production employees and processes to meet the production goals of the department, ensuring a safe, healthy, and enriching work environment for those you lead.

Activities and Outcomes:

Production

  • Ensure beer is being made to the highest possible standards and quality metrics are being adhered to
  • Ensure SOPs are created, documented, followed, and edited as appropriate
  • Maintain the brewing schedule and calendar, optimizing for production goals and efficiencies
  • Coordinate raw materials as needed to meet production schedule and brand calendar established by Catalyst leadership
  • Oversee maintenance program for production spaces and ensure PM’s are met
  • Ensure GMP’s are followed and provide a safe working environment
  • Contribute to growth and development plans with the development of tools like budgets, production forecasts, and CAPEX plans
  • Connect with industry partners on supply chain opportunities (e.g. optimizing hop orders, new raw material sourcing, etc.)

Budget Management

Staff Accountant

Based in Athens, GA

Position Purpose:

To assist in the general accounting of CCBC and put Creature Comforts in a financial position to support its strategy – to be a great and growing company.

Activities & Outcomes:

1. Accounting Records & Financial Statements

  • Assist with month-end close to ensure deadlines are met and presented in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Prepare monthly journal entries and general ledger balance sheet reconciliations. Investigate variances as necessary
  • Perform monthly physical inventory counts and research variances as necessary including the preparation of inventory count sheets
  • Develop, implement, and maintain systems to automate and improve efficiency for the Accounting Department. Ensure that CCBC policies and controls are followed and enforced
  • Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions as necessary
  • Support external financial audits and end-of-year tax preparation

2. Strategic Partnership

  • Prepare departmental financial analysis on a monthly basis and send out by 15th of each month
  • Assist in preparation of executive financial reporting package
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis to management and other departments as requested
  • Prepare and update forecasts for the current year and assist in the preparation of the Annual Operating Plan

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 1 to 3 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software – intermediate Excel skills are required and advanced Excel skills a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to research variances and trends
  • Ability to learn new software quickly (Orchestrated Beer)
  • Strong level of organization and oral and written communication/presentation skills
  • Experience with SAP or other accounting software a plus
  • Proper treatment of sensitive and confidential company information
  • Detail-oriented
