Curious 16 was developed from our desire to create a beer that mimics the flavor qualities of historic spontaneously-fermented beers. This biere de coupage-inspired beer (4.8%) is made using the classic approach of blending older beer with younger beer. Our version blends a two-year aged spontaneous ale and Common Things that aged in oak for one year.
