Koko Buni is a Milk Porter brewed with toasted coconut, cocoa nibs, and coffee. The flavors are rich, velvety, and balanced. The coffee is an Ethiopian blend from 1000 Faces Coffee. The cocoa nibs are Ecuadorian from Athens, GA based Condor Chocolates, and Haitian from Ethereal Confections in Woodstock, IL. Can design by local Athens artist David Hale.

This style balances strong hop impact with dark malt flavor. It's less roasty than a typical stout, less chocolate than a porter, and has a whole lot of pine, spruce, and grapefruit hop notes. The name is a nod to Q-Tip of A Tribe Called Quest, one of the best MC's of all time! The big hop players leading the flavor charge are Simcoe, Centennial, Citra, and Chinook.

Pecans are deep-rooted in southern culture. If you are from the South, it's hard to imagine cold-weather months and holidays without pecan pies, candied pecans, or simply pecans with salt and butter. We brewed this stout to showcase the beautiful Georgia-grown crop of pecans from Pearson Farm paired with Condor Chocolates cocoa nibs for a decadent treat. All over the world, hops are adored by brewers. In the US we made the IPA to highlight our favorite little plant, and in Germany they have the mighty pilsner. The pilsner is a lager that showcases hops- a refined vision of the style incorporating the learnings from the last 12 years of our lager brewing. We use continental European hops for those wonderfully herbaceous, grassy, and light floral notes that pair so well with European malts. A symphony of simplicity yielding endless drinkability.
