We selected the O’Henry peach to showcase from the farm’s 2020 harvest\, a beautiful freestone variety. This beer is a proud addition to our fruited mixed-culture farm celebrations\, in a continuing effort to explore the historical relationship between brewers and farmers.

Aptly named\, this beer celebrates eukaryotes. Eukaryote is a very classic approach to historical Saison with a simple grain bill using DaySpring Farms wheat. It’s highly hopped with European hops and our slight twist to the historical style uses New Zealand hops in the dry hop.

With this in mind\, we designed our latest limited release to pay homage to the quintessential session beer from Koln\, Germany\, widely known as Kölsch. Inspired by this tradition\, Many Voices is a Kölsch-style session beer (4.7%) featuring Hersbrucker and Hallertau Blanc hops and Weyermann Barke Pilsner malt. Join us in the taproom for Kölsch service on Saturday.\n\n\n \n\n\nA Kölsch service is the way you would experience the Kölsch beer in Cologne\, Germany. Served in 8oz glasses\, servers come around to the tables with a tray to replace your glass that is nearing empty so that you never have to wait for a fresh beer. This guarantees the beer never warms up too much and is always fresh from the tap.

DESCRIPTION:River Ridge Red is a 6.6% ABV blended oak-aged beer with red raspberries\, celebrating the crop from River Ridge Organics’ 2020 harvest in Independence\, Virginia. As with many of our other barrel-aged fruited beers\, we blended perfectly aged barrel stock onto the fruit for an extended maceration. For this process\, we select the very best blend of barrels to honor the complex flavor of the amazing red raspberries grown by River Ridge Organics. We believe these are some of the finest berries you will find in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This beer is a proud addition to our fruited mixed culture farm celebrations as part of a continuing effort to explore the historical relationship between brewers and farmers.
